Turkey breast steak, mashed sweet potato and cranberry sauce

Ingredients

for 2 persons
  • Turkey breast 20oz
  • Sweet potato 15oz
  • Green Bean 9oz
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1/3 cup
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Orange Juice 1/4 cup
  • Cranberries 2 cups
  • Salt

We all know the oven roasted turkey very well, and it is tasty. But your turkey has much more to offer: This turkey breast steak has amazing roasting flavors and is super juicy. Give it a try!

PREPARATION

For the sweet potato mash

Set the oven on 400°F, bake sweet potatoes for 45 minutes. Peel them and blend with 50g of butter and a pinch of salt.

For the cranberry sauce

Put the sugar, cranberries, water, orange juice and a pinch of salt in a pot. Bring to a boil and then turn the heat low. Cook lid closed for 10 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.

For the beans

Clean the green beans and chop off the stem. Blanch 2 minutes in salted water. Then put the beans and 50g of butter on an Otto Wilde Drip Tray and set aside.

For the turkey steaks

Cut the turkey breast in 2 cm thick steaks.
Heat the Otto Grill on high setting, put the Drip Tray with the green beans in the bottom of your Otto grill and roast, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes. Now add the lightly salted turkey steaks on the Grill Grate. Set the Meat-O-Meter to level 3 and roast from both sides until the desired color is reached (1-2 min on each side).
